On February 26, Phuc Tho commune, Hanoi organized the groundbreaking ceremony for 6 key projects at the beginning of the Binh Ngo spring 2026. Among them is the project to renovate and upgrade Phuc Tho General Hospital with a total investment of more than 203.3 billion VND. The project is expected to improve the capacity of medical examination and treatment, reduce the burden on upper levels, and meet the increasing healthcare needs of the people.
In the field of transportation, the road project connecting National Highway 32 with National Highway 21A in Phuc Tho district and Son Tay town (provincial road 416) has a total investment of more than 572.3 billion VND, and is identified as a strategic project.
This route will complete the inter-regional transportation network, strengthen connectivity between Phuc Tho and neighboring localities, promote trade, attract investment and create motivation for socio-economic development.
In addition, projects to renovate and upgrade the main road of Tich Giang commune (more than 120.7 billion VND), the rural road of Tho Loc commune (more than 120.1 billion VND) and the main road of Trach My Loc commune (more than 58.2 billion VND) will contribute to synchronizing basic transport infrastructure, improving people's travel, production, and living conditions, and gradually completing the criteria for building advanced new rural areas.
In the field of culture and sports, the project to upgrade the Culture - Information and Sports Center (stadium renovation item) with a total investment of more than 234.6 billion VND is being accelerated.
The items of the gymnasium, technical infrastructure and renovation of the cultural house will create a spacious and modern community living space, with squares and playgrounds, meeting the cultural and sports needs of people in the area and surrounding areas.
When completed, the project will complete the system of cultural and sports facilities in the commune center, creating a highlight of a civilized, modern, green and sustainable urban space...
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Chairman of Phuc Tho Commune People's Committee Kieu Trong Sy said that the simultaneous implementation of projects right from the early days of the new year is a particularly important event, showing the determination of the entire political system in focusing resources on infrastructure investment, improving the quality of people's lives, creating a solid foundation for the development of the locality in the new period.
The projects started cover all key areas such as healthcare, transportation, culture, sports and rural infrastructure. These are pillars that directly impact the quality of life of people as well as the socio-economic development capacity of the locality.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, reporting on investment preparation work, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Toan, Director of the Phuc Tho Commune Infrastructure Investment Project Management Board, said that in 2025, taking advantage of the city's support capital, the Commune People's Committee directed the urgent implementation of investment procedures and procedures according to regulations for 6 key projects.
Site clearance, completion of legal documents, and contractor selection are carried out seriously and in accordance with regulations, ensuring the best conditions for projects to be started on schedule.
With 6 projects simultaneously started in 6 large-scale projects right at the beginning of the new Spring, it not only shows the concern of Hanoi city for Phuc Tho but also affirms the determination of the Party Committee and local authorities in prioritizing investment in synchronous development of technical infrastructure and social infrastructure.
This is considered a strategic step, creating a new position and strength for Phuc Tho to break through in the 2026-2031 period, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people, and building an increasingly developed locality.
