On April 7, according to information from the Dong Nai Provincial Land Fund Development Center, the project to convert the function of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into an urban - commercial - service and environmental improvement area has completed the work of approving compensation plans and land recovery decisions.
Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park in Tran Bien ward, Dong Nai province. To date, the entire area of 235ha of 67 enterprises has been approved for compensation plans and land acquisition decisions have been issued, reaching 100%.
The land handover work in area 1 has had more than 48.7/50.5ha of clean land, reaching 96%; area 2 has handed over 58.6/103.5ha, equivalent to 57%; area 3 has had 83/175ha of land handed over, equivalent to 47%.
Currently, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center is coordinating with Tran Bien Ward People's Committee to actively mobilize and support businesses to accelerate the dismantling progress so that they can complete the handover in June 2026.
Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park was formed in 1963, is the oldest industrial park in Vietnam. This industrial park is located adjacent to National Highway 1A, Dong Nai River, connecting National Highway 51.
After completing the relocation of production facilities and land recovery, Bien Hoa 1 industrial park will be converted to an urban - commercial - service area, a new political - administrative center, a park... in an ecological direction, contributing to improving the environment, improving the quality of life of people and creating the urban appearance of Dong Nai.
