On the afternoon of November 25, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (PCCC&CNCH), Lam Dong Provincial Police said that the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team of Area 2 had just coordinated with Phu Son Lam Ha Commune Police, Lam Dong Province to successfully rescue 2 people in the truck overturning on Phu Son Pass.

Previously, at around 9:30 a.m. the same day, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team of Area 2 received a report from Phu Son Lam Ha Commune Police about a truck with license plate 66G-006.72 overturning in the Phu Son Passhead area.
In particular, there were 2 people, the driver and the bus assistant, trapped in the cabin of the bus, Pham Van Don (born in 1985) and Phan Minh Nghia (born in 1985, both residing in Tra Vinh ward, Vinh Long province).

Immediately afterwards, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team of Region 2 dispatched 2 fire trucks, along with 14 officers and soldiers to the scene and rescued the victims.
At 10:23, the authorities rescued 1 person in the car cabin, and at 11:02 they rescued the remaining 1 person in the car cabin to escape. The driver and bus assistants were rescued in stable health and handed over to the medical force and local authorities.

Talking to reporters, Ms. Dinh Thi Thu Thuy - Chairman of Phu Son Lam Ha Commune People's Committee said that the truck in distress was a truck carrying dozens of tons of coffee. After the accident, many bags of coffee were scattered everywhere.
Upon receiving the report, the commune government mobilized militia, youth, women, and civil defense forces of the commune and the police to the scene to support the collection of the above amount of coffee to ensure the driver's property.
"Currently, the above coffee has been fully handed over to the Company by the commune government. In addition, the 2 people in the accident were also taken to the commune health station for examination, provided with adequate food and were waiting for their family to come and receive them," Ms. Dinh Thi Thu Thuy informed.
