On December 24, according to Lao Dong, the People's Committee of Lang Son province has just issued a Decision to adjust the allocation of funds from the central budget reserve in 2025 to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10 and natural disasters that occurred since the beginning of the year, focusing on road traffic infrastructure projects.
According to the Decision, the total adjusted cost is 9.9 billion VND, keeping the previously approved allocation level, but the capital structure between projects is adjusted to suit the actual needs and urgency of each project.
The project to repair and overcome damaged roadbeds and surfaces on Km103+780 National Highway 31, in Thai Binh commune, with an implementation period of 2025-2026, has been adjusted down from VND 5 billion to VND 2.757 billion.
On the contrary, the project to repair flooding on the section Km5+300 to Km5+900 on the DH85 route, from the People's Committee of Van Linh commune to the villages of Lung Na, Khun Dut, Lang Dam, Mo Cay, was adjusted to increase the cost from 4.9 billion VND to 7.143 billion VND, in order to completely handle the prolonged flooding situation, affecting traffic and people's lives.
The People's Committee of Lang Son province assigned the Department of Construction to be responsible for the accuracy and validity of the data, and at the same time coordinate with relevant agencies to organize implementation, ensuring effective use of capital, in accordance with the goal of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.
The contents that are not adjusted continue to be implemented according to Decision No. 2293/QD-UBND dated October 30, 2025.
The early implementation of projects is expected to contribute to ensuring traffic safety, stabilizing people's lives and restoring infrastructure after natural disasters in the province.
