In which, the number of tourists to key tourist localities such as Sa Pa ward is estimated to receive about 71,600 visitors, accounting for a large proportion of the total number of tourists in the whole province. Domestic tourists are estimated to receive 58,000 visitors, and international tourists are estimated to receive 13,000 visitors.

Some other localities such as Lao Cai ward, Mu Cang Chai commune, Dong Cuong commune, Tu Le commune also attract a large number of tourists to visit and travel.
Room occupancy rate across the province reached about 70-80%, Sa Pa ward alone reached nearly 90-95%, Mu Cang Chai commune reached 80-85%, Tu Le commune reached 80-85%.
