On December 23, the "2025 Industrial Energy Efficiency Award - Construction Works Award and the 2025 Highest Energy Efficiency Product Award" Ceremony officially took place.
Speaking at the Award Ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lam Giang, Director of the Department of Innovation, Green Transformation and Industrial Promotion (Ministry of Industry and Trade) said that Resolution No. 70-NQ/TW of the Politburo clearly defines the task of ensuring stable, high-quality energy sources for national development, while promoting the application of high-performance technology and energy-saving solutions to reduce consumption and reduce emissions.
Along with that, Law No. 77/2025/QH15 amends and supplements a number of articles of the Law on Energy Efficiency and Savings to create a stronger legal framework to promote energy efficiency initiatives and models from the business level to the community.
The National Program on Energy Saving and Efficient Use for the period 2019 - 2030 (VNEEP3) aims to achieve an energy saving level of 8 - 10% of total national energy consumption in the period from 2019 to 2030.
"To contribute to the above goal, the Ministry of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Vietnam Association of Science and Technology for Energy Efficiency and Savings organizes 3 awards: Energy Efficiency Award in Industry - Construction Works and Award for Highest Energy Efficiency Product" - Ms. Lam Giang said.
According to the organizers, this is the 5th consecutive year the awards have been launched. Many effective and cooperative solutions have been discovered and widely communicated to disseminate to the business community. Through awards, businesses affirm brand reputation, enhance competition between businesses in the race to meet market demand and customer tastes in the green and smarter consumption trend.
In 2025, the organizing committee added the category of the Innovation and Creativity of Energy Efficiency Technology Solutions Award to the structure of the 2025 Highest Performance Energy Product Award.
The addition of the 2025 Innovation and Creativity Energy Efficient Technology Solutions Award category is an important content to strongly promote science, technology, innovation and digital transformation activities in enterprises, contributing to the successful implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Lam Giang hopes that the honored organizations and individuals will continue to make efforts, be creative and develop strongly, contributing to promoting the use of energy economically and effectively for the whole society, contributing to the goal of ensuring energy security for the country's socio-economic development in the coming period.
Representative of the Vietnam Association of Science and Technology for Energy Saving and Efficient Use - the unit organizing the awards in recent years, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hiep - Chairman of the Association highly appreciated the quality of the documents participating in this year's awards.
Mr. Hiep said: "With a large number of documents, the Organizing Committee has classified and evaluated the documents in accordance with the issued regulations and rules. The members of the Jury were very fair and transparent in evaluating and selecting the most deserving units, products and individuals to be honored at the awards ceremony.
The 2025 Highest Performance Energy Product Award has 12 enterprises awarded the Leading Cup.
16 works, including 5 new works and 11 renovation works, were selected to award the 2025 Energy Efficiency Award in Construction Works.
15 industrial enterprises were selected to award the 2025 Industrial Energy Efficiency Award. The award also honors 17 individuals who are energy managers with outstanding and good achievements in energy management at enterprises.
The 2025 Innovation Energy Performance Technology Solutions Award has 7 solutions from 7 enterprises selected for the award.
