The intersection between Vo Nguyen Giap Street and Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway belongs to Component Project 1 - Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project. This is one of the major intersections with complex construction.
According to the Dong Nai Province Construction Investment Project Management Board, at this intersection item, contractors are speeding up the progress and completion of construction to ensure synchronization with the entire project, achieving the goal of opening the project's technical traffic before December 19, 2025 as requested by the Prime Minister.
According to Lao Dong Newspaper, the construction site of the intersection between Vo Nguyen Giap Street and Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway is being urgently constructed, with many personnel and machinery mobilized to race for progress.
According to the Dong Nai Province Construction Investment Project Management Board, with Component Project 1, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project, contractors are implementing 30 construction teams with a total of more than 250 motorbikes, equipment and nearly 500 workers to construct the project.
According to Project Management Board 85 (Ministry of Construction) - Investor of Component Project 2 - Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project: Currently, the asphalt concrete pavement of the section passing through Phuoc Thai Commune, Dong Nai Province has been completed and connected with Component Project 3 - Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project, the section passing through Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province) has been technically opened to traffic since April 2025.
Component project 2, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway project through Dong Nai province is 18 km long, so far the total construction output of the project has reached more than 70% of the signed contract value. It is expected that by December 19, 2025, the construction output will reach about 85% of the contract value, qualified for technical traffic opening as required by the Prime Minister.
The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway is about 54 km long, of which the section passing through Dong Nai province is more than 34 km long, divided into two Component Projects 1, 2; the remaining section passing through Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) is nearly 20 km long, belonging to Component Project 3.
