In the afternoon of April 8, in the wards of Bao Loc City (old), heavy rain accompanied by tornadoes lasted for nearly 1 hour, causing property damage and traffic impact.

According to records, tornadoes have caused at least 8 houses in Ward 1 and Ward 2 of Bao Loc to have their roofs blown off.
Among them, 4 houses had their roofs completely blown off, the remaining houses were partially damaged. In addition, some net houses serving people's production were also collapsed.

Strong gusts of wind also caused a series of green trees on roads such as Ly Thuong Kiet, Hoang Van Thu and the area of the Culture, Information and Sports Center of Ward 1 Bao Loc to break and fall, causing traffic obstruction.
Fortunately, heavy rain and tornadoes did not cause any casualties.
Immediately after heavy rain and tornadoes occurred, local authorities mobilized military forces, police, and youth union members to support people to overcome the consequences.

Forces are focusing on helping people move property to safe places, and at the same time supporting the re-roofing of corrugated iron roofs and stabilizing accommodation.

At the same time, the work of cutting down fallen green trees was also urgently deployed to ensure smooth traffic.

Recorded until 7:30 PM on the same day, forces are still continuing to support people to overcome the consequences and soon stabilize their lives.
