    As a result, about 8,000 chickens out of more than 12,000 chickens raised on the farm near the date of sale suffocated.

    According to Mr. Du, after the incident, the local government sent officials and called on people to support the family in overcoming the consequences, handling the dead chickens to see if they could be consumed anymore and clearing the farm.
