According to information from the Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board (MRB), by the afternoon of May 28, the phenomenon of mudflow on Cat Linh Street (Dong Da District) had been completely controlled. The affected area has been cleaned, the area of enclosure has been narrowed and the site has been returned.
The incident did not record any damage to people or works, or technical infrastructure.
"At around 0:45 am on May 28, 2025, a small spraying point was recorded in front of house number 25F Cat Linh Street but was handled immediately, without causing any new problems," MrB informed.

The project has also promptly provided financial support to affected households and store owners, especially households that had to close their businesses due to mud splashes. Support for the remaining households is continuing to be implemented.
According to MRB, in the coming time, the Project will continue to strengthen monitoring, study comments and assessments from specialized agencies, adjust construction parameters, and operate TBMs to suit geological layers to minimize possible impacts or risks.

MRB is committed to continuing to closely coordinate with Consultants, Contractors and local authorities to update geological conditions, adjust technical measures in a timely manner, ensure maximum safety during the construction process, and maintain the progress and quality of the Project.
MRB will also maintain the provision of complete, transparent and timely information to people and relevant agencies throughout the implementation process.
Currently, TBM1 continues to operate, digging the tunnel from S10 station (Cat Linh) to S11 station (Van Mieu).
