On December 25, the Dong Nai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board is implementing the construction design step after the basic design of the Provincial Road 769 Upgrade and Expansion Project.
In particular, the location of the intersection with the North-South railway (at Km1661+074), the Vietnam Railway Authority has the opinion that it is necessary to build a railway overpass (the scale of the overpass according to the plan of Provincial Road 769), and at the same time, remove the current standard intersection after the overpass has been built.
The Dong Nai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board has proposed the Department of Construction to consider, advise, and propose to the Provincial People's Committee to approve the addition of the planning of other intersections at the North-South railway overpass at Km1661+074.
The project to upgrade and expand Provincial Road 769 is nearly 30 km long, starting at the intersection with National Highway 1 at Dau Giay intersection, Dau Giay commune, Dong Nai province; ending at National Highway 51 at Loc An intersection, Long Thanh commune, Dong Nai province.
The project is divided into 4 implementation sections with a scale of 6 lanes for motor vehicles, 2 lanes for mixed vehicles (sections 1, 3, 4) and 6 lanes for motor vehicles (section 2). The project has a total investment of nearly 5,900 billion VND. Of which, the cost of compensation, support, resettlement, and site clearance is more than VND3,000 billion.
The project is implemented in the communes of Dau Giay, Binh An, Long Thanh, Dong Nai province. The total land area to be recovered to implement the project is more than 134 hectares.
The project to upgrade and expand Provincial Road 769 is being implemented to increase connectivity and shorten travel time from localities in the province and the provinces of the Central Highlands and South Central regions in general to Long Thanh airport. Thereby, meeting the needs of transportation, reducing traffic volume for National Highway 1, contributing to the socio-economic development of localities with routes passing through in particular, Dong Nai province and the Southern Key Economic Zone in general.
