According to Lao Dong on March 25, at the Ring Road 3 project (Hanoi Highway section in Di An city, Binh Duong province), many households have to install stairs to move into their houses because the floor is 2-4 m above the ground.
Ms. Pham Thi Tuyet Nhung (56 years old, living next to the project) said that this situation has been happening for 4 to 5 months now when the project lowered the ground to make a drainage culvert for the project.

"I am old so it is quite difficult to move, getting up and down stairs many times, sometimes causing me to fall. Business has also been suspended for many months.
Life is more difficult, but because the project is under construction, we have to accept it. Hopefully the project will be completed soon, life will be more convenient," Ms. Nhung added.

Mr. Nguyen Van Bay, a businessman on Hanoi Highway, shared that his house is currently about 4 m above ground, so he limits going out, mostly just waiting for customers to come.
"Many people are afraid of height and danger so they don't come to buy. I was very happy that someone came to buy. Customers come up, but we have to get our things. I cannot import large and heavy goods because it is difficult to move them up and down," Mr. Bay added.

It is known that Tan Van intersection belongs to the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project. Tan Van intersection has a budget of more than 1,831 billion VND. The estimated construction period is 1,050 days. The project started construction in April 2024.
Binh Duong Provincial Electronic Information Portal said that up to now, the site clearance progress has reached 99%, the total construction output has reached nearly 20%.

According to the Binh Duong Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the units are speeding up the construction progress here. Currently, sewers are being installed and the water pipes are being relocated. The units are trying to speed up the construction progress to restore the road surface. It is expected to be completed around April 10-15. After that, traffic was adjusted to move onto this parallel road to construct the overpass over National Highway 1.
Later, when the road surface is restored and sidewalks are built, it will help reduce the height difference between houses and the road surface.
