At noon on November 6, the leader of the People's Committee of An Lao District (Binh Dinh) said that since this morning, there has been rain in the district, causing trees to fall and block roads. Some spillways are flooded.
"The locality has sent forces to clear fallen trees on the road and stand guard at key locations. At the same time, they have warned people not to move through flooded areas to ensure safety. There have been no casualties or property damage," he said.
According to the Binh Dinh Province Hydrometeorological Station, last night and this morning (November 6), the province had moderate to heavy rain, with some places experiencing very heavy rain. Localities were warned of heavy rain to guard against the risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams; landslides on steep slopes in mountainous areas, construction sites under construction on mountain slopes, and flooding of rice fields and crops in low-lying areas.
Also this morning, rising river water caused the Nuoc Luong bridge (Dak Mang commune, Hoai An district) to be submerged by about half a meter, cutting off traffic across the bridge. Dak Mang commune authorities have sent forces to guard the Nuoc Luong bridge to prevent people and vehicles from passing.
On Provincial Road 629, through An Hao Dong Commune (Hoai An District), there was also localized flooding, making it difficult for vehicles to move.
