According to Lang Son Provincial Social Insurance (BHXH), despite many difficulties, the locality has synchronously implemented the policy of student health insurance with the coordination of the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Health, local authorities and educational institutions.

Implementation work is deployed from guidance, propaganda, mobilization to organizing the collection and issuance of health insurance cards. Units closely coordinate to ensure full participation of students.

According to Lang Son Provincial Social Insurance, participating in health insurance helps students access medical examination and treatment services when necessary, while reducing medical costs for families.

The 100% rate of students with health insurance cards also reflects the coordination between social insurance agencies, the education sector, local authorities, schools and families in implementing social security policies.

Before the 2026-2027 school year, Lang Son Department of Education coordinated with the Department of Health to organize health check-ups for more than 200,000 students at schools in the area. This number includes preschool students with children's health insurance cards.

To date, the rate of students examined has reached over 99%. The test content includes physical fitness, vision, oral health and some other health issues.

Through examination, cases with health problems are detected and consulted for early treatment. Schools continue to coordinate with commune and ward health stations to organize supplementary examinations for absent students.

This activity aims to manage students' health right from the beginning of the school year. At the same time, periodic health check-ups contribute to linking school health work with health insurance policies.
