Dak Lak - The fierce flood submerged many villages in Hoa Thinh commune, killing 25 people and causing many other families to have their houses and properties swept away.

On November 22, Mr. Ta Tan Cong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Thinh commune, said that the damage to the locality in this flood was huge. In Phu Huu village alone, the commune had 7 deaths and about 50 households were isolated.

There are families of elderly couples who stay to look after their property (in the form of cows) that were also submerged in floodwaters, causing death. Some people stepped onto the stairs with broken legs. After that, he got cold, hungry and cold, but he did not survive.

"The whole commune has been without power for the past few days. The phone was also unusable due to a loss of signal. Therefore, we go to each village and then compile the damage to report to the commune, said Mr. Ta Tan Cong.

Outside the headquarters of the Party Committee and People's Council of Hoa Thinh commune, cars are bustling in and out. Every convoy of vehicles came here to provide relief to people in flooded areas.

Inside, commune officials are cleaning the room and rearranging the desks. Due to the rapid rise of floodwaters, many documents, machinery, and equipment in the rooms were severely damaged and could not be used. The commune cadres could not have predicted that the water would rise so quickly and so high.

Therefore, all equipment, machinery, and documents on the first floor were soaked in water, leading to complete damage and unusable use.
