On September 2, Mr. Luu Hong Long, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Huoai commune, said that heavy rain that lasted all night until this morning had caused at least 4 landslides on the road connecting to the old Da Ton commune.
The landslides occurred from 10pm last night to over 1am this morning. The landslide caused a lot of rocks and trees to fall onto the road, causing traffic congestion.
After receiving the information, the Commune People's Committee mobilized police forces, militia and machinery to handle the situation. The authorities have also put up warning signs at landslides to warn people when traveling through these areas.

As of around 8:00 a.m. the same day, the landslides had been basically repaired and cleared. Traffic through the area of Da Ton commune (old) has returned to normal.
Heavy rain also caused many sections of Provincial Road 721 through the center of Da Huoai commune to be flooded from 0.5 to 0.7m deep.
That same night, the People's Committee of Da Huoai commune mobilized police and militia forces to coordinate with the Traffic Police of Lam Dong province to be on duty to regulate and divert traffic to ensure traffic safety.

According to Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Huoai Commune, Luu Hong Long, heavy rain has caused many residential roads in the commune to be heavily flooded.
The rising water in some streams in the area has caused flooding in many houses. Many properties such as silkworm houses, household items, items, production machinery... of dozens of households were submerged and were at risk of being damaged.
That same night, the police, militia forces of Da Huoai commune and many other forces were present in time to support people in moving their belongings and assets to safety.

In addition to Da Huoai commune, heavy rain also caused flooding in many places in Da Teh 2 commune. The forces have promptly arrived and supported people in effective flood prevention.
Currently, the People's Committee of Da Huoai commune has directed forces to support people to overcome the consequences. In particular, the units have compiled statistics on the damage caused by heavy rain, flooding and landslides to promptly have a plan to support people to overcome the consequences.
