On the morning of October 24, the road to Tay Giang - Ka Lam border gate (route DT606, the section passing through Hung Son commune) was completely opened to traffic, after a period of being cut off due to serious landslides.
Previously, due to heavy rain lasting from the afternoon of October 22, thousands of cubic meters of soil and rock from the positive slope overflowed onto the road, many large rocks were lying around, paralyzing traffic, posing a potential safety risk.

Mr. Hoih Nhai, Commander of the Hung Son Commune Military Command, said: "Immediately after the landslide occurred, the commune mobilized nearly 20 militia soldiers to coordinate with local forces to urgently clear rocks and soil, level the road surface, and ensure smooth traffic soon".
The local government has mobilized 1 excavator and 2 trucks to support the clearing and transportation of soil and rock at landslides. Thanks to the forces' night-time efforts, by the morning of October 24, the road to the Tay Giang - Ka Lam border gate had been completely cleared.
At the same time, the unit managing route DT606 completed the clearing of about 600m3 of landslides along the route km65+100 (through the mountainous area of Hung Son commune).

Previously, although the road was temporarily opened to traffic on the afternoon of October 22, heavy rain continued overnight, causing further landslides on the positive slope, causing congestion again on the morning of October 23.
Up to now, after the weather has temporarily stabilized and the repair work has been completed, traffic through the main artery to the Tay Giang - Ka Lam border gate has returned to safety and smoothness.
