According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 8:00 AM on April 6th, Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant continued to be the reservoir with the largest electricity generation flow in the system. The upstream water level reached 115.73 m, lower than the normal water level by 1.27 m. The water flow to the reservoir reached 110 m3/s, while the total discharge through the plant reached 1,233 m3/s.
In the Northwest region, Son La, Lai Chau, Tuyen Quang, Ban Chat and Huoi Quang reservoirs have low water flow to the reservoirs and have not been discharged. Thac Ba alone maintains power generation with a discharge flow of 68.35 m3/s.
The North Central region recorded Khe Bo reservoir discharging 168.9 m3/s and Quang Tri reservoir discharging 18 m3/s; Trung Son and Ban Ve reservoirs have not yet discharged.
In the Central region, many lakes continue to generate electricity such as Song Tranh 2 discharging 65.87 m³/s, Song Hinh discharging 26.64 m³/s, Vinh Son A discharging 9.43 m³/s.
The Central Highlands region maintains strong power generation on the Se San and Srepok river systems.
Some lakes with large discharges include Se San 3A discharging 483 m³/s, Se San 4 discharging 320 m³/s, Ialy discharging 255 m³/s, Pleikrong discharging 106 m³/s, Srepok 3 discharging 150.84 m³/s and Buon Tua Srah discharging 94 m³/s.
In the Southeast region, Tri An reservoir has a water inflow rate of 160 m3/s, currently not discharged.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather forecast for April 6th, the Northern region will be sunny during the day, with hot sun in some places, especially the delta region will have hot sun, with intense hot sun in some places. The highest temperature is commonly 34 -36 degrees C, in some places above 36 degrees C; especially the Northwest region 35-37 degrees C, in some places above 38 degrees C.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang city and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will be hot, with intense heat in some places with the highest temperature commonly 35 - 37 degrees C, in some places above 39 degrees C.
The Southern region is sunny during the day, with hot sun in some places, especially the East has hot sun.
