Most hydropower reservoirs across the country are still lower than the normal water level, and the reservoirs mainly generate electricity and regulate it through power plants.

According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 13:00 on April 29, in the North, Tuyen Quang Lake had a water level of 110.04m, nearly 10m lower than the normal water level; inflow to the lake 50 m3/s, discharge 130.25 m3/s through the plant.

On the Da River system, the water level of Lai Chau reservoir reached 291.21m; Ban Chat 432.71m; Huoi Quang 369.65m - all lower than the normal water level and have not been discharged for regulation.

Son La Lake reached 206.01m, flow rate of 153 m3/s, no discharge occurred. Hoa Binh Lake reached 109.35m, flow rate of 408 m3/s, currently discharging 401 m3/s through the plant.

Thac Ba Lake reached 51.48m, flow rate 82 m3/s, not yet discharged.

In the North Central region, Trung Son Lake reached 155.94m, discharging 82 m3/s through the plant; Khe Bo Lake reached 64.43m, discharging 168.6 m3/s. Ban Ve Lake and Quang Tri Lake have low flow, not yet regulated.

In the South Central Coast, many reservoirs continue to generate electricity with small flow rates. A Vuong reservoir discharges 28 m3/s; Song Bung 4 discharges 50 m3/s; Vinh Son A discharges 8.26 m3/s.

Notably, Song Ba Ha reservoir discharges 120 m3/s through the plant, while the remaining reservoirs have almost not generated discharge.

The Central Highlands region maintains power generation at some lakes on the Se San and Serepok river systems.

Pleikrong Lake discharges 118 m³/s; Se San 4 discharges 130 m³/s; Kanak discharge 29 m³/s; Buon Kuop discharged 15.33 m³/s. An Khe Lake continues to overflow at 8 m³/s, opening a surface outlet.

In the Southeast region, Tri An Lake has a water level of 58.19m, a flow rate of 110 m3/s, and has not yet had to be discharged for regulation.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on April 29, the Northern region will have rain, moderate rain, locally heavy to very heavy rain, then showers and thunderstorms in some places. The lowest temperature is about 20 - 24 degrees C. The highest temperature during the day is generally not exceeding 30 degrees C.
