According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 1:00 PM on February 7th, Tuyen Quang Lake had an upstream water level of 113.61m (normal water level of 120m), water flow to the lake 50 m3/s, total discharge volume of 248.27 m3/s through the plant.
In the Northwest region, Lai Chau reservoir recorded a water level of 292.54m, inflow 500 m3/s, total discharge 189 m3/s. Ban Chat reservoir reached 462.64m, low inflow (14 m3/s) but still maintained a total discharge of 271 m3/s.
Huo Huoi Quang Lake reached 369.22m, close to the normal water level of 370m; flow rate of 290 m3/s, total discharge of 265 m3/s.
Notably, Son La reservoir is approaching the normal water level (214.87/215m), the flow is 349 m3/s, the total discharge is up to 1,438 m3/s, all through power generation.
Meanwhile, Hoa Binh reservoir recorded a water level of 111.88m, with a fairly large inflow (854 m3/s), total discharge 303 m3/s. Thac Ba reservoir reached 55.03m, inflow 83 m3/s, total discharge 198.05 m3/s.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather forecast for February 7th, the Northern region has scattered light rain, the lowest temperature fluctuates from 17 - 21 degrees C.
The North Central region from tomorrow afternoon will have rain, scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places.
The Southern region has showers in some places at night, sunny during the day.
