According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 12:00 on April 22, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir had a water level of 111.64m, lower than the normal water level by 8.36m; water inflow to the reservoir reached 50 m3/s, total discharge through the plant was 126.81 m3/s.
In the Northwest region, Lai Chau Lake reached a water level of 290.61m; Ban Chat Lake 431.89m; Huoi Quang Lake 369.96m, approaching the normal water level.
Large reservoirs on the Da River system continue to maintain power generation: Son La reservoir reached a water level of 207.69m, power generation flow of 732 m3/s; Hoa Binh reservoir at 110.71m, power generation of 1,479 m3/s; Thac Ba reservoir reached 51.77m, power generation of 206.64 m3/s.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on April 22, the Northern region will have showers and thunderstorms in some places, sunny skies in the afternoon with the highest common temperature of 30 - 33 degrees C; especially the Northwest region will have hot sunshine above 36 degrees C.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Hue city has hot and intense heat with the highest temperature commonly 36 - 38 degrees C, in some places above 38 degrees C.
The Central Highlands and Southern regions are sunny during the day, with hot sun in some places.
