According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 1:30 PM on March 30, at Hoa Binh Lake, the upstream water level reached 115.99m, about 1.01m lower than the normal water level (117m).
The water flow to Hoa Binh reservoir reached 1,410 m3/s - the highest in the current system. Total discharge volume 443 m3/s through power generation, no overflow discharge.
Son La Lake recorded a water level of 214m, 1m lower than the normal water level; water flow to the lake reached 852 m3/s, total discharge through the plant was 456 m3/s.
At Lai Chau reservoir, the water level is 291.83m, lower than the normal water level by more than 3m; inflow to the reservoir is 129 m3/s, total discharge is 744 m3/s through power generation.
Huo Huoi Quang reservoir reached 369.99m, approaching the normal water level of 370m; water flow to the reservoir 284 m3/s, total discharge 131 m3/s.
Ban Chat Lake reached 431.57m, only about 0.57m higher than the dead water level; the flow to the lake is low at 21 m3/s, total discharge 244 m3/s through power generation.
In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir recorded a water level of 115.19m, nearly 5m lower than the normal water level; water flow to the reservoir 125 m3/s, total discharge 120.71 m3/s through power generation.
Meanwhile, Thac Ba reservoir reached 53.61m, lower than the normal water level by more than 4m and has not yet discharged water.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather forecast for March 30, the Northern region will have fog and light fog scattered in the early morning, sunny days, with hot sun in some places; especially the Northwest region will be hot, with intense hot sun in some places.
The highest temperature is commonly 32 - 34 degrees C, especially in the Northwest region 34 - 36 degrees C, in some places above 36 degrees C.
The Southern region in the late afternoon and night has showers and thunderstorms in some places; sunny days, hot sun in some places, especially the East has hot sun.
