According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 2:00 PM on June 6, in the North Central region, Trung Son Lake had a water level of 154.68m, 5.32m lower than the normal water level. Ban Ve Lake reached 176.36m, 23.64m lower.
Khe Bo Lake is at 63.96m, only less than 1m higher than the dead water level but still generates electricity with a flow rate of 212.4m3/s. Quang Tri Lake reaches 466.21m, nearly 14m lower than the normal water level.
In the South Central Coast, many hydropower reservoirs continue to maintain low water levels. A Vuong reservoir reached 361.78m, 18m lower than the normal water level; Song Bung 2 reservoir is about 16m lower; Song Bung 4 reservoir is nearly 9m lower; Song Tranh 2 reservoir is 14.4m lower.

In the Central Highlands, many large lakes continue to be significantly lower than the normal water level. Thuong Kon Tum Lake reached 1,145.38m, 14.62m lower; Pleikrông Lake is 20.44m lower; Ialy Lake is 17.17m lower.
Reservoirs on the Se San River system including Se San 3, Se San 3A and Se San 4 maintain water levels near the normal level. An Khe Lake is discharging through the spillway with a flow rate of 8m3/s, while Buon Kuop Lake is discharging 15.57m3/s through the spillway.
In the Dong Nai River basin, Dong Nai 3, Dong Nai 4, Don Duong, Dai Ninh and Ham Thuan reservoirs are all 0.5-21m lower than the normal water level. Da Mi Lake reached 324.19m, only about 0.8m lower and is generating electricity with a flow rate of 42.29m3/s.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 6, the midland and delta regions of the Northern region will be hot during the day, with intense heat in some places with the highest temperature commonly 35-36 degrees Celsius, and in some places above 37 degrees Celsius.
