On November 24, according to information from the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, for 3 projects to upgrade, expand, and build new provincial routes 769, 773, and 770B to connect traffic with Long Thanh airport, the unit and the consulting contractor are currently implementing steps to complete the construction design documents after the basic design as well as prepare and submit for approval the feasibility study report of the projects.
Regarding the implementation progress, the Provincial Road 769 Upgrade and Expansion Project may start construction in February 2026.
Meanwhile, the projects to build provincial road 770B and upgrade and expand provincial road 773 are expected to start construction in April 2026.
The three routes mentioned above have a total investment of more than VND18,000 billion.
As for the Provincial Road Construction Project 769E, it also connects Long Thanh airport because it has to handle content related to intersections with the high-speed railway line on the North-South axis, the Thu Thiem - Long Thanh railway, so the progress is slower than the above projects. This project is expected to start construction at the end of 2026.
DT 770B route is invested in construction connecting the eastern and northeastern districts of Dong Nai province with Long Thanh airport and Xuan Que - Song Nhan industrial parks, Bau Can - Tan Hiep industrial parks, connecting Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, National Highway 51 and Cai Mep - Thi Vai seaport area (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, now Ho Chi Minh City).
The DT 770B road project will be newly invested in construction with a length of more than 42km, with the starting point intersecting with DT 763 road and the end point intersecting with National Highway 51, planned to have a roadway of 60m, with 4-8 lanes.
The project has a total recovered land area of more than 370 hectares passing through 7 communes (Xuan Bac, Xuan Que, Xuan Duong, Dau Giay, Gia Kiem, Long Phuoc, Phuoc Thai) and 2 wards (Binh Loc, Xuan Lap).
