On November 23, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province issued a document conveying the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requesting the Chairmen of the People's Committees of Long Phuoc, Phuoc An, Long Thanh, Nhon Trach communes to complete compensation and site clearance for the 25B, 25C road project before November 30, 2025.
The Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee also requested the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board and the Project Management Board of Area 6 to speed up the construction progress, ensuring the quality of the 25B and 25C road projects, ensuring the technical traffic of the project before December 19, 2025 (online 25C from National Highway 51 to Huong Lo 19 will complete the technical traffic before March 2026).
The project to upgrade road 25B from the center of Nhon Trach commune to National Highway 51 and the construction of provincial road 25C (from Huong Lo 19 to National Highway 51 are projects implemented by Dong Nai with the goal of connecting traffic from Long Thanh airport to Ho Chi Minh City.
These projects will be implemented in early 2025, with the goal of being basically completed by the end of 2025 and put into operation in the first half of 2026.
According to the plan, provincial routes 25B and 25C will connect Long Thanh airport via National Highway 51 to Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway, Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, reducing the load on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway.
The Provincial Road Upgrade Project 25B is over 9.2km long, with a total investment of nearly VND 1,500 billion and the Provincial Road Upgrade and Expansion Project 25C will build a new road longer than 2km from National Highway 51 to Huong Lo 19, with a total investment of over VND 647 billion.
