According to initial information, at around 2:30 p.m. the same day, Truong Manh Th. (37 years old, residing in Thang Binh District, Quang Nam) had a conflict with his girlfriend, Ms. Nguyen Hoa Tuong V. (33 years old, residing in Que Son District, Quang Nam) at Ms. V's private house.
During the fight, Th. used a weapon (undated) to stab Ms. V. many times, seriously injuring the victim. After that, Mr. Th. ran away to National Highway 1A.
About 10 minutes later, when reaching km 961+100 of National Highway 1A, in Moc Bai village, Que Phu commune, Que Son district, Mr. Th. suddenly drove into the front of a truck with license plate 92H-004.26 driven by Le Phuoc D. (35 years old, residing in Dai Loc district) was traveling in the North - South direction.
The incident caused Th. to die on the spot. Ms. V. was taken to the hospital by local people for emergency treatment in critical condition.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Quang Nam Provincial Police force was present at the scene to examine and investigate. The cause of the incident is being further clarified
