The Da Nang Silk Tower 1 project has the legal name of the Felicia Da Nang project, invested by Da Nang Silk Tower Investment Company Limited.
Located in a prime location on the Vo Nguyen Giap coastal road (Ngu Hanh Son ward), the project has now been temporarily suspended and has fallen into a state of prolonged "shelving".
Ms. Nguyen Thi An (living in Ngu Hanh Son ward, Da Nang) said that the project has only completed the rough reinforced concrete frame, and has not completed the exterior, interior or utility infrastructure system.
The construction site area is currently fenced off, with no signs of resuming construction recently.

According to Lao Dong reporters, the prolonged stagnation of projects has made many investors worried, especially those who have paid most of the apartment value in previous years.
An investor N.V.H said that in June 2021, this person signed a purchase contract with the investor of Da Nang Silk Tower Investment Company Limited for apartment F12B09 - Felecia Codotel building ( Vo Nguyen Giap street). This investor paid 2.2 billion VND in 2021 (2/3 of the project) and the remaining 1 billion VND has not been paid due to not receiving payment information from the investor.
In 2024, the investor received an email notification from the investor that the apartment would be handed over on June 30, 2024, but so far there has been no information.
"This project has stopped construction in 2022, and the project is still inactive. The project has been advertised for sale to other investors, but other investors continue to sell and there are no plans to rebuild it.
We cannot contact the old investor, Da Nang Silk Tower Investment Company Limited has changed the legal representative but did not notify the buyer" - the investor reflected.

Responding to the above content, the Department of Construction of Da Nang City said that Da Nang Silk Tower Investment Company Limited is the investor of the Da Nang Silk Tower 1 project in My An ward, Ngu Hanh Son district (now Ngu Hanh Son ward, Da Nang).
This project was granted a Construction License No. 44x/GPXD by the Department of Construction of Da Nang City on October 23, 2019, adjusted/expired on June 21, 2022 with 193 tourist apartments (not forming residential units) and 58 hotel rooms after adjustment.
Through monitoring, the Department of Construction of Da Nang City informed that this project has temporarily stopped construction.
