According to the Nghe An Provincial Civil Defense Command, storm No. 10 Bualoi made landfall in the province, causing heavy rain and strong tornadoes for many hours, killing 1 person ( Mai Thi Bao Ngoc, born in 2015, Quang Dong commune), injuring 11 people in many localities such as Nam Dan, Nghi Loc, Quynh Luu, Anh Son, Tuong Duong...

Regarding housing, the whole province had 32 completely collapsed houses, 127 houses were severely damaged, more than 1,400 houses were damaged by landslides and nearly 44,600 houses had their roofs blown off. The fence system with a total length of more than 30 km also collapsed.

The education sector reported that 45 schools were flooded, 222 schools had their roofs blown off, 18 schools had landslides and many other items were severely damaged. The health sector recorded 37 facilities with their roofs blown off and degraded. Cultural - sports works and historical relics were also affected, with nearly 20 works damaged.

The damage to agricultural production was huge: more than 4,400 hectares of rice, 6,000 hectares of vegetables, 4,174 hectares of perennial crops were damaged; more than 30,000 hectares of forest were broken; nearly 780 livestock, more than 163,000 poultry died; 1,400 tons of salt were damaged. Traffic was severely cut off with 82 traffic jams on national and provincial highways; 64 local roads were eroded, 14 temporary bridges and dozens of culverts were washed away.

The power and telecommunications systems also suffered heavy damage: more than 3,300 electric poles fell, nearly 70 km of power lines were broken, many transformer stations and loudspeaker clusters were damaged.

In the face of the above situation, Nghe An province has directed the "4 on-site forces" to urgently overcome the consequences, prioritize the repair of schools, medical facilities, restore electricity, traffic, ensure people's lives and maintain security and order after the storm.
