On December 17, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee held a working session to hear about the implementation status of a number of projects in industrial parks in the province.
According to the report at the meeting, VSIP Nghe An Urban and Service Industrial Park was established in 2015 with an area of 750 hectares. The project was invested and constructed by VSIP Nghe An Company Limited under VSIP Group. To date, this industrial park has attracted 55 projects from secondary investors with a total capital of more than 2.063 billion USD, including 34 FDI projects with a total investment of more than 1.976 billion USD; the occupancy rate reached about 97%.
Currently, VSIP Nghe An project has completed site clearance (GPMB) of 681.1ha/750ha.
At the meeting, the Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone requested Hung Nguyen district and Vinh city to complete compensation and site clearance work; relocate 220KV, 110KV and 35KV power lines passing through the Industrial Park; and renovate the 72m urban road from Quan Bau intersection, Vinh city to Ke Gai bridge.
Regarding the implementation of the proposed location for the VSIP Nghe An 3 Industrial Park Project, VSIP Nghe An Company Limited has submitted a document requesting approval of the location to implement the VSIP Nghe An 3 Industrial Park Project in Industrial Park No. 8 with a scale of 220 hectares in Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district.
The Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Hung Nguyen District People's Committee to organize the establishment of a 1/2000 scale construction zoning plan for Industrial Park No. 8 in Hung Tay Commune; at the same time, review and update the above area into the land use plan of Hung Nguyen District and other plans to ensure consistency. Currently, the Hung Nguyen District People's Committee is in the process of selecting a consulting unit to establish a 1/2000 scale construction zoning plan for Industrial Park No. 8.
Hoang Mai I Industrial Park (Hoang Mai town) has completed land acquisition of 246.53 ha/264.77 ha (reaching 93.11%). The Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone has agreed to lease land to Hoang Thinh Dat Joint Stock Company with a total area of 231.58 ha/264.77 ha; 18.24 ha has not been completed.
Hoang Mai II Industrial Park has decided to reclaim land with an area of 14.35/334.79ha. Regarding the measurement, the first and second phases have been approved with a total area of 183.1ha/334.79ha; 151.69ha have not been approved. The inventory of land and assets on affected land has been organized for 56/56 plots of 35/35 households with an area of 39.6/39.6ha (belonging to the first measurement).
Concluding the working session, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province Nguyen Duc Trung requested that localities should actively focus on implementing the remaining areas of industrial parks that have not been cleared.
Hung Nguyen District is implementing inventory, counting the current status, approving compensation plans for graves in the 1.7ha cemetery area; surveying new locations to relocate the 1.95ha cemetery area. For Vinh City, focusing on implementing investment procedures to complete the new cemetery project. Both localities must complete the work before May 31, 2025.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung requested all levels, sectors, and Hoang Mai town to focus on directing tasks related to site clearance and handover to investors to ensure investment attraction needs.
