On the morning of September 30, due to the impact of storm No. 10 (Bualoi), Nghe An province is experiencing very heavy rain with prolonged strong gusts of wind. Many roads were deeply flooded and cut off; trees fell in large numbers, and some areas were at high risk of landslides.
Here in Yen Hoa commune, the water level rose, in some places the water level reached the roofs of people's houses. Many roads were submerged and completely isolated.
Faced with the complicated developments of floods, the authorities of Yen Hoa commune have urgently activated response plans. Working groups were assigned directly to each village, supporting people to tie up houses, evacuate people and property from the danger zone.
Local authorities have also set up warning posts at points at risk of landslides and flash floods, and are on duty 24/7 to update the situation, ready to deploy rescue forces when emergency situations occur.

Consecutive storms 8, 9, 10 and floods caused by the storm have killed 19 people and many people are missing. Many houses and production and business establishments had their roofs blown off and suffered heavy damage. People across the northern and central mountainous provinces are struggling to cope with floods and heavy losses in human lives and property due to floods and thunderstorms.
