Ca Mau people happily receive 100,000 VND as gifts for the independent New Year

Ca Mau - On the afternoon of August 31, all 64 communes and wards in Ca Mau province presented gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.

Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Lam Van Bi affirmed that Ca Mau province is determined to ensure that all people receive the most complete and timely Tet gifts for the Independence, striving to complete before and on September 2.

According to Mr. Bi, this is a very meaningful gift, demonstrating the deep concern of the Party and State, multiplying the spirit and excitement of the entire Party, people and army on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day.

Ninh Thanh Loi commune organized 10 locations in 14 hamlets to implement the policy of giving gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2. People are happy to receive this meaningful gift.

Truong Thanh Hang, Head of the Farmers' Association of Hoc Nang Hamlet, Tan An Commune, said: "All are very happy and excited to know this policy. For poor, near-poor, and large-scale households, gifts become even more valuable and practical. The gift giving is organized flexibly and promptly, especially in rural areas with difficulties, and needs to be delivered directly to the people".

Mr. Nguyen Thai Thuan, a retired cadre, a revolutionary veteran in Ly Van Lam ward, said: "We, the retired cadres, discuss keeping this year's Tet gift as a souvenir."

According to Mr. Thuan, for the first time since the founding of the country, all people have received Tet gifts for the Independence. This is not only the deep concern of the Party and State, but also demonstrates a new thinking and new way of doing things: through concrete actions to foster and multiply the strength of great national unity.

Bac Lieu Ward organizes 10 gift-giving points for people. Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi, Secretary and Head of Hamlet 8, Bac Lieu Ward, expressed: "People are very excited, officials also try to work on the day off to give gifts to the people as soon as possible".

Chairman of Bac Lieu Ward People's Committee Le Viet Xo said that although the time was short, giving gifts directly to the people was difficult, but the ward was determined to make the people more excited.

Ms. Nguyen Minh Nguyet (Hamlet 2, Bac Lieu Ward) directly received the money and said: "With this gift, I will buy food to cook rice before offering to grandparents and finally the family for a meal to celebrate the National Assembly Day".

Ca Mau continues to give gifts directly to households until September 2. For cases that cannot be received in time, localities will notify people to come and receive before September 15.
