On the afternoon of August 30, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province issued a decision to supplement funding for the People's Committees of communes and wards to implement the policy of giving gifts to the people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
According to the decision, the total amount allocated to 64 communes and wards in the province is over 260 billion VND. Ca Mau province also clearly guides: Giving gifts according to permanent households, the amount of each household is determined for each household member according to national population data; the household owner (or a family member authorized by the owner) is allowed to receive gifts on behalf of each household member and is responsible for transferring gifts to members of the household.

In case the citizen does not have a permanent residence registration, the gift will be given directly to each citizen or person authorized by the citizen.
For giving gifts through the social security account of the homeowner on the electronic identification application - VneID (in case there is an integrated account); or directly in cash (in case there is no account) at the payment point organized by the locality must be ensured in a timely, safe and effective manner.

Payment period is from August 31 to September 1, 2025.
Currently, communes and wards are urgently reviewing all population, including permanent residents, temporary residents and people actually living but not yet in the National Population Database to promptly give gifts tomorrow, August 31.
At the same time, the authorities also instructed people to complete the procedures for granting level 2 electronic identification accounts, opening bank accounts, and integrating social security benefits on VNeID.
Previously, the Prime Minister issued Official Dispatch No. 149/CD-TTg dated August 28, 2025 on giving gifts to the people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
