In Phu Tho province, Cam Khe commune was established on the basis of merging the entire area and population of Cam Khe town, Phong Thinh commune and Minh Tan commune of the old Cam Khe district.
Currently, Cam Khe Commune People's Committee is implementing a project to renovate and upgrade the traffic road (from Xom Lang to Go Lang Duoi area) to Cam Khe commune (old Phong Thinh commune area).
The project will renovate and upgrade the route with a total length of 1,158m, starting point at Km0+00 (intersection with DT.113C at Km5+440), ending point at Km1+158.0 (intersection with DT.113C at Km6+290).

The road has a surface design of 5.5m wide, 7cm thick asphalt concrete and has been built with a drainage system, paved with sidewalk tiles, and a new lighting system using solar energy...
Present on the project route in late October, a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper noted that the project is a main axis road passing through 4 residential areas of Cam Khe commune, including: Go Lang, Go Lang Tren, Go Lang Trung, Go Lang Duoi. Along the route, many households are self-dismantling architectural objects on the roadside land for the project to be implemented.

Like Mr. Tran Van Long's household in Go Lang Chung area, Cam Khe commune, the architectural objects on the land that Mr. Long is self-dismantling occupy about 1/4 of the yard in front of the house, with many items including: Gate, fence, yard and canopy that his family just built less than a year ago.
From the instructions of the people, the reporter met Mr. Nguyen Thai Dat at Go Lang Duoi area, Cam Khe commune - a person with 2 plots of land on both sides of the project road. Of which, Mr. Dat is hiring someone to demolish the fence, the remaining piece is 262m2 wide, with a "two-frontage" location at the intersection between the end point of the project and Provincial Road 313C, Mr. Dat has donated the entire land to the project.

Mr. Dat said that there is a fairly large population here, with primary schools and kindergartens, and when parents pick up and drop off their children, traffic jams and traffic insecurity often occur. Therefore, Mr. Dat has proposed to voluntarily donate a 262m2 plot of land for the state to widen the road crossing.
"I think in addition to reducing traffic congestion in the area of 2 schools, when I donate a piece of land, the road crossing to and from the residential area will be very wide, reducing the situation of blurred vision and sharp bends, along with the project to renovate the road, build sidewalks, install lighting... the hometown's face will be upgraded to be spacious and clean.

When the commune and residential area authorities come to propagate and mobilize about project site clearance, basically all households are in agreement and support. For me, I just think simply about how to contribute to society, to my hometown" - Mr. Dat confided.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Vice Chairman of Cam Khe Commune People's Committee - said that during the implementation process, the project to renovate and upgrade traffic routes (from Xom Lang to Go Lang Duoi) has received support and facilitation from local people in site clearance work.

Mr. Tuan hopes that from examples such as Mr. Nguyen Tien Dat's household and other households who have actively coordinated with the state in site clearance for the project, the movement of donating land for road construction will spread not only in Cam Khe commune but also in many communes and wards in the province.
