The Department of Home Affairs of Ca Mau province said that by June 18, the number of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the province who retired early or quit their jobs had fluctuated significantly, especially in this arrangement.

To date, Ca Mau province has approved the list of early retirement and resignation (3 rounds) for 220 people in the government sector. At the same time, 253 others have been approved by the review council for consideration and are being submitted to competent authorities for approval. A total of 473 people, with the estimated payment amount of more than 476 billion VND.

Currently, the province is appraising 468 more people, of which 255 people have retired before the age, and 213 people have quit their jobs. After merging a number of departments and branches, Ca Mau province has 5 leaders of departments and branches who have applied for early retirement to facilitate the streamlining of the apparatus, including 3 department directors.

Most recently, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province approved 66 cases for the regime to be resolved, including 39 cases of early retirement and 27 cases of resignation.

Among those who have settled early retirement according to Decree 178, the beneficiary of the highest support amount is more than 2 billion VND.

Previously, after merging a number of departments and branches (March 2025), Ca Mau had 5 leaders of departments and branches apply for early retirement to facilitate the work of streamlining the apparatus, including 3 department directors.
