On December 1, information from the Traffic Police Department of Thai Nguyen province said that the accident occurred on the afternoon of November 30 between a passenger bus traveling to Hanoi with a garbage truck near the exit of the Dan - Tan Lap intersection
Accordingly, when arriving at the above area, the bus driver suddenly accelerated from about 50 km/h to more than 70 km/h to overtake a truck in the same direction. After that, the passenger bus hit the back of a garbage truck cleaning near the median strip.
At the time of the collision, the front view of the passenger bus was limited due to the dust from the garbage truck issuing everywhere. The strong collision caused the bus driver to break his leg and have to be taken to the emergency room, 3 passengers did not recorded any casualties.
The accident caused traffic congestion for nearly 2 km, and the handling of the scene was completed by 4:30 p.m. the same day.
