Dak Lak - Dakwaco Company's water plant had a problem and stopped operating due to complicated floods.

On November 21, Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Ha - General Director of Dak Lak Water Supply Joint Stock Company (Dakwaco) - said: "Due to the impact of floods, the water supply plant of the unit located in Ea Na commune has encountered a problem and cannot supply water to the people. This water plant is a large project supplying water to people in the old Buon Ma Thuot city area".

According to Ms. Ha, Dakwaco has not been able to compile detailed statistics on people affected by the above incident. At the water plant in Ea Na commune with a capacity of 35,000m3/day and night, on the evening of November 20, water flooded into the construction site, so employees were forced to interrupt and dismantle equipment to avoid incidents.

"Only when the floodwaters recede can the unit fix the problem to provide water to the people. Therefore, the company has notified customers in wards and communes including Buon Ma Thuot, Ea Kao, Thanh Nhat, Tan An, Tan Lap, Hoa Phu to use water economically," Ms. Ha added.

According to research, Dakwaco's water plant in Ea Na commune is one of the important works to supply water to people in communes and wards (belonging to the old Buon Ma Thuot city).

The problem of the water plant and its shutdown can paralyze and locally affect the lives of tens of thousands of local households.
