On December 8, the leader of Lam Dong Department of Construction said that Dai Binh bridge at Km225+930, National Highway 55 (in B'Lao ward) has deteriorated after a long period of exploitation, no longer ensuring safe load-bearing capacity.

Currently, the Department of Construction is implementing the repair and replacement of the entire upper-order system of the bridge including bridge girders, bridge deck, railings...; at the same time, building a temporary bridge and a temporary road on the right side of Dai Binh bridge (from National Highway 20 to) to serve traffic during the construction period.
To ensure traffic safety on the route and serve the bridge repair activities, the Department of Construction announced the organization of traffic diversion through Dai Binh Bridge on National Highway 55.

The traffic diversion period through Dai Binh Bridge started from the afternoon of December 8, 2025, lasting until January 20, 2026.
The diversion location is at Km225+930 on National Highway 55 through Dai Binh Bridge, in B'Lao Ward, Lam Dong Province.

Specifically, prohibiting trucks with a load capacity of 10 tons or more from traveling through the temporary bridge that has just been completed next to Dai Binh Bridge.
The route for trucks with a load capacity of 10 tons to 13 tons traveling on National Highway 55, from Da Mi Pass (also known as Ta Pao Pass) to National Highway 20 and vice versa: At Km222+950 in the direction of Da Mi Pass, start turning right and go 1.9km - continue along the 3.5km district road - continue 2.9km through Tan Lac bridge (Bao Lam 2 commune) - continue along Au Co road 2.2km to National Highway 20.

For trucks over 13 tons, proactively travel through appropriate routes. If they have to cross the temporary bridge next to Dai Binh bridge, they are forced to reduce the load or divide the goods into small pieces to ensure safety.
The Department of Construction requested the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police and the People's Committee of B'Lao Ward to support the arrangement of forces to regularly patrol and control, ensuring smooth and safe traffic during the bridge repair period.

For the Lam Dong Road Maintenance Management Board, the construction units are responsible for organizing the full installation of the road signal system in accordance with the traffic organization plan and current regulations during the bridge repair process.
National Highway 55 has a total length of about 290km, a strategic route connecting the Southeast region with the South Central region and the Central Highlands.
This National Highway starts from Ba Ria - Vung Tau (old) and passes through Binh Thuan (old), Lam Dong, ending at Dai Binh intersection (B'Lao ward, Lam Dong).

This route plays an important role in economic trade, national defense and security. Currently, the route is implementing a project to upgrade important sections such as the section through Lam Dong province, including Dai Binh bridge.
