On April 8, the Thai Nguyen Department of Health issued a decision to sanction administrative violations against a food supplier related to Hoa Binh Kindergarten.
According to the decision, Mr. Nguyen Van T - owner of a food service business was fined 22.5 million VND for violating food safety regulations.

The results of the surprise inspection showed that this establishment had many violations such as: recording the three-step food inspection book and the food sample storage book incorrectly according to regulations; no test result sheet for water used in processing.
Lack of invoices and documents proving the origin of food ingredients.
Conditions for preserving and processing food are not guaranteed; the place of processing and storage has the intrusion of insects and harmful animals.
Previously, as Lao Dong reported, the incident at Hoa Binh Kindergarten originated on March 25. At that time, this unit brought meat cooked for students out to grind because of a power outage.
Some parents discovered that the meat had an unusual color and took the food for testing, and the pork was contaminated with E. coli and African swine fever.
On the morning of April 8, Van Lang Commune People's Committee organized information on the results of food testing samples.

Accordingly, sample number 1 test results of 11 indicators revealed 3 indicators with problems (positive E.coli; high microbial index; yellow staphylococcus is lower than 10).
Sampling number 2 tested positive for African swine fever virus.
