On August 28, Saigon Ward (HCMC) organized many activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The art program "Vietnam - 80 years of steady independence reaching far" was held in the area in front of the City Post Office, attracting a large number of people and tourists in the area.
The program is not only an opportunity to review the glorious revolutionary tradition, expressing deep gratitude to the generations of ancestors who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, but also an opportunity to arouse pride and a sense of responsibility in each cadre, party member and resident of Saigon ward.
Many art performances brought many deep emotions, from heroic, solemn to vibrant, youthful, in the bustling applause of thousands of people, creating an atmosphere of solidarity and confidence in the bright future of the country.




Also on August 28, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Saigon Ward presented Party badges to 27 Party members. Of which, 2 Party members received the 65-year Party membership badge; 1 Party member received the 60-year Party membership badge; 2 Party members received the 55-year Party membership badge; 4 Party members received the 50-year Party membership badge; 4 Party members received the 45-year Party membership badge; 8 Party members received the 40-year Party membership badge; 6 Party members received the 30-year Party membership badge.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Phat, Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Saigon Ward expressed his appreciation for the merits and contributions of the 27 Party members honored to receive the Party Badge.
On behalf of the ward, he hopes that party members and people will continue to promote their intelligence, experience, and contribute many valuable opinions to contribute to building an increasingly modern and civilized Saigon ward in the era of national growth.
