Accordingly, according to the bulletin of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 4:00 p.m. on October 21, 2025, the center of the storm was at about 17.5 degrees North latitude, 111.9 degrees East longitude, 420km East Northeast of Da Nang city.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 9, 10 (75-102km/h), gusting to level 12, moving southwest at a speed of 10-15km/h. It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, the storm will move in a West-Southwest direction at a speed of about 10km/h. Prepare forces and means to promptly respond when situations arise. Advise local party committees and authorities to review realistic plans and response options. Review, count, and guide ships and vehicles operating at sea to places to avoid storms and ensure safety.
Regarding the handling of landslides at the Da Nang City Cemetery, on October 21, the Ministry of National Defense issued Official Dispatch No. 6024/CD-TM requesting the Military Region 5 Command to direct the Da Nang City Military Command to advise local Party committees and authorities to direct relevant authorities to organize inspections and reviews of landslide areas, mobilize forces and means to coordinate with local authorities and people to relocate households living in affected areas to safe places; put up warning signs to ensure safety for people and vehicles passing through and overcome landslides.
