On March 19, information from the People's Committee of Quang Binh province, the unit has just issued a document on reviewing and temporarily suspending the implementation of works and projects for provincial-level units in the process of implementing the plan to reorganize the apparatus of the political system.
This move aims to implement Conclusions No. 126 and 127 of the Politburo and the Secretariat on streamlining the apparatus, ensuring savings, avoiding waste and facilitating the management of public assets after the arrangement.
According to the direction, provincial departments, branches, sectors and units temporarily suspend the implementation of investment projects to build new, repair, renovate and upgrade working headquarters of agencies, organizations and units.
Projects using local budgets that have been arranged since the beginning of 2025 will be suspended, unless otherwise necessary. If it is necessary to continue the project, the unit must send a document to the higher management agency and the Department of Finance for synthesis and submission to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to coordinate with relevant units to supervise the implementation, ensure effectiveness and promptly advise the province.
