According to information from the People's Committee of Do Son Ward, before storm No. 11 (storm Matmo) made landfall, the beach area at 295 Do Son recorded a large amount of waste, duck and materials drifting from the sea and river mouths, affecting the landscape and posing a potential risk of insecurity when there are strong winds and big waves.

In the face of the above situation, the leaders of Do Son ward promptly inspected, reviewed, and directed vulnerable areas, Hai Phong Public Works and Tourism Services Joint Stock Company and functional forces to urgently collect, clean up all garbage and clean up the environment along the beach.

The work is being implemented in a spirit of urgency to proactively respond, minimize damage caused by natural disasters and maintain the image of Do Son as green, clean and beautiful before the big storm. The ward government also called on people, business households, tourists and organizations in the area to raise awareness, join hands to clean up, and ensure absolute safety for people and property before storm No. 11.

Although this morning (October 5), the Do Son sea area is calm with waves and light winds. However, implementing the sea ban that has been in effect since 5:00 p.m. on October 4, in order to ensure absolute safety for people and tourists against unpredictable weather developments, local authorities require people and tourists to absolutely not go to sea, not swim, and not organize recreational activities at sea during the ban. The authorities have increased inspections and checkpoints at beach areas, strictly handling violations.
