On April 8, the Office of Da Nang International Airport (HKQT) - confirmed a new step forward in applying digital transformation to serve passengers. Accordingly, this unit will officially accept level 2 electronic identification accounts on the VNeID application to carry out flight procedures, completely replacing the physical citizen identification card (CCCD), to optimize procedure time.
A notable highlight in this deployment is the opening of a separate entrance on the 2nd floor of the domestic departure terminal. This is a priority area exclusively for passengers who have activated and proficiently used electronic identification accounts. This traffic diversion not only helps reduce pressure at traditional check-in counters but also significantly shortens waiting time for people.

The application of VNeID level 2 is expected to create a breakthrough in convenience, especially for employees and workers who regularly travel by air.
From now on, the worry of forgetting or losing personal papers when going to the airport will no longer be a barrier. With just a smartphone, passengers can confidently complete security checks and board the plane" - a representative of Da Nang airport shared.
This activity is part of the roadmap for implementing Project 06 of the Government and the direction of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, which was piloted by Da Nang airport before.
According to Decree 59/2022/ND-CP, level 2 electronic identification accounts have a value equivalent to physical ID cards in administrative transactions. The deployment at Da Nang airport is a specific proof of the determination to modernize administrative procedures, putting people at the center of service.
