After 3.4km of Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway, the section from Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway (My Yen intersection, Long An) to Le Kha Pieu Street (formerly National Highway 1, Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City) was opened to traffic, an additional 18.8km from Le Kha Pieu Street to Nguyen Van Tao intersection (Nha Be District, Ho Chi Minh City) will be put into operation on April 30.
At that time, vehicles can move seamlessly for more than 22km from My Yen intersection to Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park - Port (Nha Be district) without having to go around Nguyen Van Linh or Nguyen Huu Tho streets as before.

In the last days of March, the construction atmosphere at Nguyen Van Tao intersection took place very urgently. Under the harsh sunlight, hundreds of workers are working hard to ensure progress.
Each group of workers measured and stretched ropes to determine the location of the asphalt pavement, while the rollers continuously worked to tightly squeeze the asphalt layer.

At the intersection with National Highway 50 (Binh Chanh District), important items are also being urgently completed. On the main route, workers are busy spreading crushed stone and reinforcing the roadbed, while the overpass and the entrances are also being constructed synchronously to ensure timely exploitation.
In Dong Nai, an additional 14km of expressway from Phuoc An intersection to Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 is entering the final completion stage to be put into operation on April 30. Previously, the 7km long expressway section from National Highway 51 to Phuoc An intersection was opened to traffic.

Recorded at the construction site, the entrances to and exits to Phuoc An port are being paved with asphalt and paving. Meanwhile, at the intersection between Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway and Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 (Nhon Trach District), the approach roads are gradually being completed.
After the opening of an additional 14km, vehicles will continuously travel more than 20km from the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 intersection to National Highway 51, contributing to reducing the load on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway.

Thus, by April 30, the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway will exploit a total of more than 43km out of a total of 57km, aiming to complete the entire route by 2026.
The Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway is one of the most important transport projects in the Southern region, playing a role in connecting the East and Southwest.
The route has a total length of more than 57km, passing through Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City and Long An, with a total investment of more than 30,000 billion VND.
The expressway is designed to be 24m wide, including 4 lanes and 2 emergency lanes, with a maximum speed of 100km/h.
When the entire project is completed in 2026, this route will help shorten the time for transporting goods, reduce traffic congestion and promote socio-economic development in neighboring areas.
In particular, the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway will play an important role in connecting to Long Thanh International Airport, expected to be operational by the end of 2025.
