On the afternoon of November 3, a leader of Cam Trung Commune People's Committee said that on the morning of the same day, a landslide occurred in Ru Rach mountain area in Nam Thanh village, slightly injuring one person.
The landslide also affected and damaged a number of houses in 3 livestock farms of local people below, burying crops, and a car was motivated.
The landslide area is about 3 hectares wide, with 3 stone processing mines and 5 general production farms.
Mr. Le Hong Linh - Head of the Economic Department of Cam Trung Commune - said that after receiving the report of the Ru Rach landslide, the local government was present to grasp the situation and at the same time put up a ban sign in this area to ensure the safety of the people.
According to Mr. Linh, the landslide area still has the potential risk of further landslides.
