On the afternoon of November 3, information from the Traffic Police Department - Ministry of Public Security said that on the day and night of November 2, despite the rainy weather in many localities, the national traffic police force simultaneously launched the Alcohol Concentration Control Project according to the order of the Director of the Traffic Police Department.
During the period from 12:00 to 14:30 and 19:30 to 23:00, the Traffic Police of 34 local police forces across the country controlled 71,668 drivers, including: 1,989 passenger cars, 4,650 trucks, 16,312 cars, 47,250 motorbikes, 5 specialized cars and 1,462 rudimentary vehicles.
Through inspection, the authorities discovered and recorded 2,478 cases of alcohol concentration violations, including 13 trucks, 67 cars, 2,347 motorbikes, 1 passenger car and 50 rudimentary vehicles and other vehicles.
Age analysis shows that the 36-55 age group accounts for the highest rate of violations with 1,533 cases (61.86%). Next is the group of 1835 years old with 625 cases (25.22%), the group over 55 years old has 256 cases (10.33%), and under 18 years old has 64 cases (2.58%).

According to the Traffic Police Department, the simultaneous implementation of the topic of controlling alcohol concentration nationwide at the same time will be carried out regularly and continuously, including during holidays and Tet, to form the traffic culture habit of "not driving after drinking alcohol".
