The incident caused difficulties for fishing boats and ships when they were anchored by garbage, and also made it difficult to take ships and boats out to sea and dock due to garbage obstruction.
Not only that, garbage has remained here for many days, along with some animal carcasses flowing back, causing pollution and a foul smell.
A representative of Xuan Hoi Fishing Port said that the unit has reported to the leaders of the Management Board of Fishing Ports and Ha Tinh Storm Shelter to find a solution. However, with the large amount of garbage dumped, there are many difficulties in cleaning up due to insufficient means and human resources.
Therefore, it is necessary to have the cooperation of all levels, sectors and local authorities, and the people participate in cleaning up trash.
On the afternoon of July 31, Mr. Tran Quynh Thao - said that the government was aware of the impact of floods and garbage, mainly branches and wood from upstream, flowing into the anchorage area and Xuan Hoi fishing port.
According to Mr. Thao, in the coming time, the locality will mobilize forces to clean up garbage to ensure environmental hygiene and clear the channel as well as the anchorage area and Xuan Hoi fishing port.
According to the leader of Dan Hai commune, a few days ago, a man in this locality had a chance to stumble while picking firewood here and drowned.
