After inspection in Thai Nguyen, recommendation to handle over 15 billion VND

Thai Nguyen - Through inspection, the authorities discovered 516 organizations and individuals committing violations and recommended economic sanctions of more than 15.3 billion VND.

On January 7, according to Lao Dong Newspaper, the entire Thai Nguyen Provincial Inspectorate conducted 480 inspections in 2024. Of these, 98 were administrative inspections and 382 were specialized inspections at 2,673 agencies and individuals.

After the inspection, 516 organizations and individuals were found to have committed violations, and economic sanctions of over VND15.3 billion were recommended. Of these, VND4.9 billion was recovered, VND1 billion was deducted from the final settlement, over VND9.1 billion was administratively fined, VND213.7 million was sold as confiscated evidence, VND115.6 million was recovered for agencies and organizations, and 76,261.5 square meters of land was recommended to be recovered.

Through inspection, 2 case files have been transferred to the investigation agency. Responsibility of 2 individuals has been reviewed. Up to now, nearly 14 billion VND has been economically handled, 1 individual has been disciplined with a warning, and 1 individual has been reprimanded.

The total number of citizen receptions by administrative agencies in the province was 5,147, down 25.4% over the same period in 2023. There were 31 large groups, down 25 groups over the same period in 2023.
