According to the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal, on December 18, the Ministry of Public Security held an online conference to deploy the implementation of key administrative procedure reform tasks and proactively exploit and use the Prime Minister's Standing Committee for Administrative Procedure Reform's service quality assessment index for people and businesses in an online format.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long - Deputy Minister of Public Security, Deputy Head of the Prime Minister's Administrative Procedure Reform Working Group - chaired the conference.
The report at the conference clearly stated the level and form of public disclosure of administrative procedures (via website, online public system, information board at headquarters).
Accordingly, the Ministry of Public Security has publicized 357 administrative procedures under the Ministry's jurisdiction on the National Database of Administrative Procedures, the National Public Service Portal and the Ministry of Public Security's Public Service Portal, creating convenience for people to look up, learn and perform when requested.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Van Long requested units and localities to step up impact assessment and appraisal of regulations on administrative procedures in draft legal documents containing regulations on administrative procedures, and propose to immediately abolish, within their authority, administrative procedures that have been and are barriers to production, business activities and people's lives.
The Deputy Minister of Public Security requested that each locality urgently propose specific solutions to connect the National Population Database appropriately. From there, remove obstacles and speed up the implementation of tasks under the direction of the Government.
Focus on promoting and completing the consolidation and connection of the administrative procedure settlement information system at the ministerial and provincial levels with other information systems and databases, moving towards synchronizing, connecting, and sharing data on the status and situation of file processing with the administrative procedure settlement information systems of ministries and branches in their localities.
Social insurance needs to proactively coordinate with relevant units to research the content of the Electronic Health Book for children, especially vaccination information associated with VNeID of parents and guardians. Strive to have over 40 million people using the Electronic Health Book by the end of 2025 and 100% of medical facilities participating.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long also requested the Ministry of Public Security to preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries and branches to propose the implementation and integration of types of documents under management, promote data enrichment, and be ready to expand and integrate new utilities on the VNeID application (such as determining marital status, civil judgment enforcement notices, information on banking, telecommunications, healthcare, and education).
Previously, the Prime Minister issued Official Dispatch 133/CD-TTg on promoting the implementation of tasks and solutions to implement Project 06 to serve people and businesses.
In particular, the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Public Security to preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries and branches to propose the implementation and integration of types of documents under management, promote data enrichment, and be ready to expand and integrate new utilities on the VNeID application.
