As of 1:30 p.m., Ninh Binh province has confirmed that there are 9 deaths (1 person in Hai Thinh commune, 1 person in Hai Anh commune, 4 people in Quyet Nhat commune, 1 person in Hong Phong, 1 person in Gia Hung, 1 person in Chhat Binh commune) and 18 injuries (5 people in Hai Thinh commune, 2 people in Quyet Nhat commune, 3 people in Hai Anh, 2 people in Hong Phong, 6 people in Chhat Binh commune).
In addition, 130 houses had their roofs blown off, 5 schools were damaged, 1 health station was affected, 2 markets had their roofs blown off, nearly 200 electric poles were broken, and some power lines were broken.
Power cables at the intersection of Pham Hung and Van Hanh streets (Hoa Lu ward) were broken and fell into the canal, a transformer station in Hoa Lu ward caught fire, many trees were broken, and dozens of hectares of crops were affected.
